Microsoft Scripting Runtime Vba Mac

You simply have to create an instance of FileSystemObject in VBA and then you can generate files, read files, delete files, iterate though folders and do many other operations on your computer’s file system. The FileSystemObject is present inside the Microsoft Scripting Runtime Library i.e. This DLL supports the creation. You can't use the Scripting Runtime on a Mac - it doesn't exist, so you will need either MacScript or to use Dir instead (simpler). Rory Theory is when you know something, but it doesn’t work.

Unlike other versions of Office apps that support VBA, Office 2016 for Mac apps are sandboxed.

Sandboxing restricts the apps from accessing resources outside the app container. This affects any add-ins or macros that involve file access or communication across processes. You can minimize the effects of sandboxing by using the new commands described in the following section.
